Carol Culpepper creates beautiful, unique handmade jewelry. Carol believes that jewelry should be as unique as the person wearing it. Her passion for the arts and creating one-of-a-kind pieces has been with her since the beginning. Carol continues to create unique pieces that are elegant, unique, and timeless. All of Carol Culpepper's designs are handcrafted with attention to detail. Each piece is created with the utmost care.
Carol Culpepper has been creating meaningful handmade jewelry for many years. She is inspired by the beauty of nature and the unique shapes and textures of the materials she uses in her work. All pieces are designed and made with love and care and each one is unique and special.
Carol was born in Chicago and grew up surrounded by public transportation, museums, and of course the lake. After graduating from high school, she went on to Southern Illinois University, earning a BA in Art, Painting, and Ceramics.
Then Carol went on to Southern California where she worked her way up the State, painting wall murals, drawing art for advertising, and silversmithing.
A few years ago she took a glass fusing class and fell in love with Dichroic Glass. Since then, she has been pushing the envelope in fusing."Glass is fun, and beautiful too!!", Carol says. Her passion for creating unique glass-infused jewelry pieces started there and has been growing ever since!
Carol now lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and from her back porch, Yosemite, the Coastal Range, and Sonora Pass are all visible. Sunrise and moonrise are always beautiful and the mountains with ever-changing skies are inspirational to say the very least.
